Pursuit of an International Education

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10682401/site/newsweek/

The article in the link provided talks of a trend where more Western colleges/universities are setting up extended campuses in Asia; some even teaching with English as their primary language. This is all for an international education. The reasons for the trend concerns itself with factors such as cost and visa regulations. I can provide very little to this topic as I am United States born and am pursuing my International Studies degree at a U.S. institution, like many of us. But I also feel that my international education would not be complete if I do not travel, live, and or work abroad. At the same time, I understand the cost and visa issues. With that, here are two questions:

1. Is an international education better received in your home country, or abroad?

2. With cost and visa factors as they are today, how can the domestic market continue to attract international students?
